Join our town wide halloween decorating contest
In partnership with the Optimist Club of Lucan,we are hosting a first annual town wide Halloween decorating contest!
Instructions:
Residents and local organizations may submit a photo of their outdoor/storefront decorations by October Monday October 26th, 2026 to lucanhalloween@gmail.com
Please indicate the following in your submission:
Name (personal or business)
Address (local submissions only)
Photo(s) of your outdoor/business decorations
Consent to post your submitted photos on our website and social media. While our goal is to encourage the local community to come see the submissions, we respect our neighbourhood privacy. We will not post photo submissions without consent. We will not post names or addresses of local residents, but will encourage the community to find the residence themselves while trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
The winning local organizations will be awarded Lucan’s Most Spooktacular Organization on Halloween 2026.
The winning local residence will receive a prize valued at $100.
